SewStudio is a place where students can come learn and create in a fun, inspiring environment
at their own level and pace.
Is there a Minimum Age?
Sign up for an available class by using the “Book a Class” page on our website.
*Students age 8 and up are welcome
What is the Cost?
Summer Camps are 2 hours/day for 3 days for $195
School year sessions are 1 hour/week for 5 weeks for $195
Can I Choose My Projects?
Every student starts with the same two projects to ensure basic sewing knowledge and skill sets are met before moving on to more challenging projects. The first project is a simple pillow, and then each student will go on to make their beginner bag. Students will then use this bag to transport their projects to and from class. As skill level increases, students can go on to more challenging projects.
Are Classes Private?
Each summer camp and class has a 4 students to 1 teacher ratio.
Do I Need Experience?
Do I Need Equipment?
We will provide a sewing machine, ironing board, serger and all necessary equipment and materials you will need.
Do I Need Materials?
We will provide all your supplies: material, thread, stuffing, notions, etc.
Where is Your Location?
We are located in beautiful Newbury Park. A specific address where the class will be hosted is provided to you after booking a class.
